About
At Rythmix Stage Academy, we believe in nurturing young individuals' passion for the arts beyond just working towards grades and exams. Our performance-led school prioritises providing aspiring performers with ample opportunities to showcase their talents on stage, in a diverse range of performance styles and settings.
At Rythmix, we aim to create lasting memories while fostering a love for all things theatre in children and their families.
Theatre friends often become life long friends.
'My best friends, now as an adult, are the same friends I was performing with as a child and a young adult' says Rythmix Founder/Principal, Siana Harrison.
Young people meeting like minded, supportive individuals in an inclusive enviroment such as this, gives children a solid foundation of people around them in addition to their life at school.
Sharing the stage creates a bond like no other!
'I truly believe that transferable life skills are also developed in groups such as this, whether your child pursues the arts as a career or not' says Siana.
Such training gives young people the skills to enter a room of people with their head held high, to stand up and speak in front of their peers, and to interact and present themselves with confidence and ease.
Skills that they can transfer to all walks of life as a young person and beyond.
We welcome all abilities and believe in discovering and nuturing their unique theatre spark, allowing them to be authentically themselves both on and off the stage. Our industry professional teachers incorporate the required technical training for dance, drama and singing whilst always working towards another exciting performance. Our Rythmixers are consistently developing their technique but always in a fun, engaging and relaxed enviroment.
Siana began performing at the age of 7 and later honed her skills at SLP College Leeds, graduating with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre (awarded by Trinity College, London) and an IDTA teaching qualification. She later attended the prestigious Manchester School of Acting. Contracts with Disneyland Paris followed and a Dancer/Singer contract in the Carribean. Siana has also experienced being on the set of shows such as 'Hollyoaks', 'Coronation Street' and Sky One's 'Brassic'.
In September 2021, Siana launched Rythmix Stage Academy in response to the challenges brought by the pandemic. 'I had always dreamed of launching my own academy one day but the pandemic reminded me that life is too unpredictable to say 'I'd love to do that one day'.
This realisation fuelled her determination to create a space for young creatives who had their passion for performing hindered, or for those who had not even had the oppurtunity to discover it yet, due to the recent circumstances.
Projects
From musicals, variety shows, local festivals and even tribute nights, nothing is off limits here at Rythmix!
Reviews
'My daughter began her journey with Rythmix Stage Academy two years ago at the age of six. Rythmix has helped her grow so much in confidence, helped with her reading, concentration and coordination, given her a bucket of other new skills and helped her to embrace her star qualities.
Rythmix has given her the opportunity to put her own spin on roles and she has had some unforgettable experiences being in the different shows and has made some great friends.
Thank you so much Rythmix for giving my amazing daughter her time to shine, we look forward to many shows!'

'I cannot recommend Rythmix enough!
My son and daughter have both attended the Mini Mix session which is incredibly fun and builds their confidence. It is fantastic to see all the kids finding their voices. My daughter has now progressed to the Junior Academy and loves it…she is challenged a little more, in a really supportive and fun way.
Siana and the Rythmix team do an incredible job supporting and nurturing these kids which leads to them being confident and brave on stage. They may forget the songs and dance moves in later life but the self confidence is a gift they will carry for life'.
